Lesson learned

Today I learned that if you ever, ever use WoW as a yardstick to measure up the Latest Greatest New MMO, you will be labelled a bigot. As manifestly absurd as that notion is, it seems to be the accepted norm within the endless MMOvsMMO namecalling, mudslinging, epeen-measuring contest. Ridiculous. It’s like comparing a Mercedes to some new Korean entrant to the luxury sedan market and being called, ahem, ‘pigheaded’ as a result.

Stubborn rebellion against an accepted norm/standard is a form of bigotry in and of itself. I suppose this is why most WoW players choose to simply dissasosciate themselves with the haters entirely. If you play WoW, you’re a bigot, end of story. Oh, you play other MMO’s too? IRRELEVANT!!1!1one!

Perhaps I should follow suit.
