What do the Cataclysm Stat changes mean for DK’s?

Big news of the day is Blizzard’s clarification of how stats will be changing in Cataclysm. Long and short of it, Defense rating is gone, Armor Penetration is gone, Block Value is gone, Parry reworked and a couple other notables.
For us, the big news is Haste, which has been alleged will affect our rune cooldowns. If this pans out, it’ll be a significant buff to DK’s, and stacking Haste will be our new priority. The faster our runes cool down, the more Strikes we churn out, the more DPS/threat we’re capable of. That’s huge. For DK tanks, the Parry change makes it a worthwhile stat and could be what finally fixes our ’spikiness’.
Beyond that, no too much changes. As DPS we already stack plate with strength as priority thanks to Bladed Armor, and as Tanks Plate is a given, so the whole Mastery thing doesn’t affect us too much. Armour Penetration was a nice stat but not something we really actively stacked, except perhaps for very well geared Blood DPS. All in all, the changes seem very welcome. The death of Defense is a huge boon to tanks everywhere and getting crit-capped by presences/stances/forms alone is going to be very welcome and make tanking in DPS specs while levelling much easier for lowbies.
