Warhammer Feeds

The best Warhammer Online news & blogs in one place

FAQ

What is this site about?

WarhammerFeeds.com is an aggregator of content from various Warhammer Online news sites and blogs, and sort of a directory for other Warhammer-related sites which might be of interest.

Why should I use this site?

It’s designed so you can check for updates of your favorite sites in one place instead of having to visit dozens of them each day. Unfortunately not everyone uses RSS feeds and RSS readers to read news so this is a convenient way to keep yourself updated, as well as easily find related posts on similar topics.

Additionally, most popular sites are usually blocked by corporate firewalls so you can’t read them while at work. WarhammerFeeds might get blocked one day but until then you’re most welcome to take advantage of our service.

Can I suggest my own site?

Absolutely. Please use the “Suggest A Site” form and fill in all the details and we’ll be sure to check your site and add it to our list, which usually takes no longer than 48 hours. If we really like your site it might get syndicated and your posts will be featured in our RSS feed and our front page which in turn will generate more traffic for your site.

Won’t this hurt my site?

Absolutely not! If anything, it will help your site in a number of ways.

Unlike most other sites which aggregate content from RSS feeds and pass it off as their own, we link back to the original source on your site which brings you more visitors both directly and indirectly. All links are do-follow, which means they tell the search engines to go visit your site and give all credit to you, meaning there’s more links pointing to your site which over time increases your site’s authority and brings in more visitors from search engines as well.

Additionally, all syndicated blogs get a site-wide link from our site (you can find them in the sidebar to the right), as well as more prominent position on our Links page (in addition to the link from each syndicated article).

Why aren’t all sites syndicated on your homepage?

Either we missed the site entirely or it didn’t fall into the “criteria”: sites which are only a week or two old and have less than 5 posts are usually not syndicated. Also, bloggers who are writing about more games and not just Warhammer Online don’t get syndicated as well (simple workaround: offer an RSS feed for a specific category of your posts).

If you feel we made an error, you’re probably right — be sure to let us know!

How can I help?

For starters, you can check our Links page and see if we missed any sites or blogs and tell us all about it.

If you own a site we’d also love to hear from you with your suggestions and comments. We’d also appreciate if you told your visitors about us and put one of our badges on your site to proudly tell them you’re listed, or at least add us to your own blogroll. It’s all about sharing love with the community!
