Holy long-time since I’ve posted batman.  Sorry about that guys.   This has been a killer week on my time.  Good news though!  The game has been functioning great for me and I’ve been timing it just right to avoid the major queues.
I’m having a blast in Aion.  I reached level 16.5 tonight and I’ve had [...]

The once tranquil grounds of the Temple of Isha are soaked in the blood of WAR. Today marks the start of our next Weekend Event: Isha’s Sorrow. The forces of Order race to protect this sacred ground from the corruption of the armies of Destruction.

Should the forces of Destruction complete all of their tasks and successfully desecrate the Temple of Isha they will be awarded with the title of “Sorrowbringer” while those amongst the armies of Order who manage to successfully defend the temple and complete their tasks will find themselves dubbed as “Isha’s Champion”.

This Weekend Event has now begun and will run until Monday morning (9/28).

    WAAAGH!

Fallen Earth puts PvP on the map

    • In Uncategorized

I mean that literally. Until recently, the PvP areas were not marked on the map. As there are several areas and the sectors are just so huge it was a bit of a pain to find them. Speaking of the map, I like the look of it as it fits the game well. T…

Given the recent onslaught of new MMO’s onto the general gaming population, I’ve been getting the feeling that Mythic have been battening down the hatches. A kind of PR dead zone appears to exist within Mythic HQ at the moment. How many new articles have you seen? I am hoping it’s a strategic decision and [...]

    Fallen Earth Tip and Patch

    • In Uncategorized

Yesterday, Fallen Earth officially launched! Compared to most modern MMO’s, Fallen Earth can be a bit difficult at the start. It’s learning curve is not as steep as EvE’s, but it isn’t flat either. I’ve started a new segment called Video Tips. The f…

Thank God I’m Not In That Queue

Yes it’s yet another Aion queue post. Which really seem to be rather prevalent at moment. As an innocent bystander in this ongoing saga, I can be relatively ambivalent towards it all. Though I am honestly grateful that I’ve not got a burning desire to be playing Aion, because I’d probably be foaming at the mouth with frustration.

I’ve now been party to two and a half MMO launches.  It’s been a year and some since Warhammer released but I can’t say I had any problems with that launch.  At least nothing that immediately stands out.  The half would be Champions Online since I never did actually stay through release but the Open [...]

    • By Werit
    • In Uncategorized

In an unexpected turn of events, Star Trek Online has announced you can level entirely by PvP. This is a huge and great surprise, at least for me. That is one of my favorite things about WAR. Although, I don’t mind PvE as much in the STO universe. …
